OSU Veterans Coaching Project

In 2012, the Columbus Rotary started a mentoring program with The Ohio State University focused on coaching military veterans. The project is geared at connecting the Veteran students at Ohio State with successful Rotarians and non-Rotarians in their vocational areas of interest in an effort to help them adapt to the civilian work environment. Through a series of lunch sessions, presentations and on-going mentoring, the Rotarians involved in this project are able to help the veteran students network, find part-time and permanent jobs and prepare them with important guidance in their career path.

As a long-time Rotarian and former past president of the Columbus organization, Rob is pleased to have the opportunity to take part in the coaching project for a second year in a row. As we observe Veterans Day, let us remember to honor and celebrate our veterans for their service today and every day.
